Newly released court documents provide gruesome details of the injuries that alleged Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev suffered before his capture, including a skull fracture.

Dr. Stephen Ray Odom, a trauma surgeon who treated Tsarnaev at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, described the accused terrorist’s injuries during a court proceeding at the hospital in April, three days after his arrest. The transcript of his testimony was ordered unsealed Monday.

"He has multiple gunshot wounds, the most severe of which appears to have entered through the left side inside of his mouth and exited the left face, lower face,” Odom said, according to the transcript.

"This was a high-powered injury that has resulted in skull-base fracture, with injuries to the middle ear, the skull base, the lateral portion of his C1 vertebrae, with a signifi ... Read more »

Many Americans have been astounded that the Kazakh students Dias Kadyrbayev and Azamat Tazhayakov were willing to risk lengthy prison terms to help two Dagestan buddies implicated in the Boston Marathon bombings.

Not me – because in my seven years in Kazakhstan, I have seen the "helping your buddy” mentality taken to extremes. Even assaulting a professor. I’ll get to that later.

Meanwhile, Kazakhs have been shocked over Kadyrbayev’s and Tazhayakov’s arrests, given that the 19-year-olds "didn’t do anything” in the bombings.

News accounts have indicated that the Kazakhs were unaware that the brothers Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were planning a terrorist act.  Tamerlan died in a shootout with authorities after the bombings, which killed three and wounded scores, and Dzhokhar was wounded and faces a trial that could bring the ... Massachusetts state police photographer Sgt. Sean Murphy, who made headlines for releasing pictures of accused Boston marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, has been assigned to a midnight shift in Athol, Massachusetts, in a move that state police insist is not discipline or a demotion but is widely seen as such.

'He is under investigation for possibly violating departmental policy and regulations by releasing departmental material obtained in his media relations position without authorization,' state police spokesman David Procopio told the ... Read more »

Reni Todashev and Zubeidat Tsarnaev comfort each other in Makhachkala, Dagestan

Zubeidat and Anzor Tsarnaev’s lives were changed forever April 19, 2013 when they learned their eldest son Tamerlan was killed by Boston police and their younger son Dhzokhar (also called Jahar) was severely wounded and in prison, accused of bombing the Boston marathon.

Reni Todashev’s life was changed forever on May 22, when she heard the news that her husband Ibragim had been killed by the FBI during a related interrogation in their Orlando, Florida home.

Ibragim Todashev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev only knew each other from the gym and were not ... Read more »

1. Motive – Know Your History

"You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before”. -Rahm Emanuel

They have said that "the thing about a crisis is that it creates a sense of urgency. Actions that once appeared optional suddenly seem essential. Moves that might have been made at a leisurely pace are desired instantly”

False flag events are used by the people in power to push the masses in the direction that the power wants them to go in. What would be the motive of a lone bomber setting off his bomb 3 hours after the elite racers cross the finish and the most people are gathered to watch…???? Same thing with 9/11… Why strike the buildings before the most people are in it… ??? If it really was zealots behind these events it would happen during peek times… But instead the real people behind the te ... Read more »

Barry Shephart (CRG),- Lynne Stewart, a movement attorney who was jailed for the "crime” of being the defense lawyer for alleged terrorist Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman, is dying in prison of stage-four cancer.

Her family and supporters, including Nobel Peace Prize winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu, are asking that she be granted compassionate release so she can live out her final days outside prison walls.

The warden of Stewart’s prison has approved her compassionate release, however the Department of Prisons has so far refused to grant it.

Her case is another example of how the "war on terror” is being used to violate basic democratic rights, in this instance the right of those accused of a crime to legal representation, as well as the attorney-client privilege.

Stewart had a long career of defending the poor and political dissidents. As well as providing legal defense for many unknown people who could ... Read more »

So Wesley Autrey, or the Subway Superman, as he was later dubbed, jumps into the gutter of a subway after a man who had some sort of health condition, epilepsy if my memory serves me correctly, falls onto the rails of an oncoming train, to save him. He succeeded. While that was an incredibly heroic act, one of the elements in that story that perhaps makes it still so memorable to me was that split second decision when Autrey battled with himself on what to do. He said at first he thought, "oh no, someone's gotta save this man" and no second sooner, he was telling himself, "that's you, stupid. You’ve gotta save him."

Ellen DeGeneres found it funny he mentally referred to himself as "stupid." Now, I'm no Subway Superman but I'm in the kitchen, trying to dish my meal, and ... Read more »

The Massachusetts cop suspended after leaking arrest photos of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev — following the publication of a sympathetic photo of the Boston Marathon bombing suspect on the cover of Rolling Stone — is back at work.

Sgt. Sean Murphy, a 25-year veteran of the state police, is now working the 11 p.m. to 7 a.m graveyard shift at Athol. Murphy had been at the department's Framingham headquarters.

Murphy took the crime-scene pictures as Tsarnaev, 20, was arrested.

State police spokesman David Procopio says Murphy's assignment, which began last week, is not punishment for the unauthorized release of dozens of photos, including some showing the bloodied former college student with the red laser dot of a police sniper's scope on his forehead.
