Discuss: 7/11 Robbery
After the identified suspects of the Boston Marathon bombings, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, it was reported that the brothers were also linked to the 7/11 robbery. The police released a images, showing Dzhokhar Tsarnaev entering the gas station with Tamerlan behind him, allegedly robbing 7/11.

It was later confirmed that the brothers were NOT the robbers and were no longer suspects in the robbers. Another important fact is that they went to Shell gas station, not 7/11.

****The police were able to release images of them of a surveilliance camera, which should have captured the real robbers. So how did they become the suspects? Can you think of any reason why the police decided to release images taken at another gas station, relating it to the robbery?****

On May 9th of 2013, a C-Span 3 program on television was  well worth watching-though profoundly dull and a pain--I have seen it 7 times now because of a total of about 10 minutes worth of testimony is so revealing and speaks to exactly when the brothers became suspects, and further Ed Davis goes even further to explain exactly when Dzhokhar became a target for the FBI. It was immediately after Tamerlan was known to have been killed. This is not how we pick suspects really--but so goes the testimony on program number 312587-1 It is a 2 hour plus 48 minutes of program. Further, Ed Davis  testifies the FBI did not notify him of who were the suspects in the case, thought they might have properly done so-among other bloopers. I have contacted the program owners several times to gain the original two parts of the  taped program-which is now a one tape. I believe when they made it into one tape, some testimony was compromised--but they keep saying all of it is there. I know I did  see more from Kurt Schwartz-smirking Kurt I call him--because he seemed to think the brothers predicament was amusing and smirked about it during his testimony in the original, but now this little bit is missing. More than that may also be missing, but still some good things that are actually helpful to Dzhokhar is still there. I encourage anyone interested in Dzhokhar's case to please watch this 2 hours  plus 48 minutes of tape-These people certainly weren't trying to aid his defense, but like the FBI can't walk and chew gum, neither can many of our elected leaders. They prove it ,too. Especially the people like Kurt Schwartz who aren't accustomed to being in the spot light too often, thinks the woes and misery of others is so amusing, but he is a duck himself. The tape is not suppose to be shortened, the program creators keep claiming it is all there--if anyone can get the original 2 parts on disc from them, you will have achieved more than I.The phone number to reach C-span on the phone has been 1800-662-7726 or 1800-oncspan. I would sincerely appreciate anyone to give the 2 plus hours just to see if they can catch more flops and bloopers of the higher ups than I did.

It seems like the police were only looking for them.  They were easier targets than actually looking for the real robbers.  I think it's the same with the MIT officer who was killed.  From what I understand, statements made by people in the area that night gave descriptions of one or two suspects that got away on foot - descriptions that were nowhere near those of the brothers.  Good lawyers will pull this apart in court.  They will point out all the false claims by law enforcement.  They will point out that police intended to kill Dzhokhar while he was in the boat - not capture him.  They will point out all the inconsistencies in statements made by witnesses.  It is too late for Tamerlan.  I hope Dzhokhar has good lawyers.
