I happen to have the most advantageous friendship with an independent journalist (who requested that I kept him anonymous) who is covering every minute of the case and has gotten the nitty-gritty on all things Tsarnaev through reliable connections (how reliable? Idk). He has even been in contact with a handful of people who knew the Tsarnaevs and were willing to disclose any information that they knew about any of the members. Two former classmates of Jahar are on the list of people he has successfully received a reply from, one of which, happened to type a 5-page letter on her experience. Hungry for any morsel of information, I garnered up the courage to make him a request. And after a pitiful series of coaxing, begging, and kissing arse, he was flattered enough to send me a good segment of the classmate’s letter. And though this person’s account is irrelevant to the whole case, I was painfully curious to know how other acquaintances of Jahar perceived him and just their stories about him.
